Decimal data type not possible with computed columns?

Jun 27, 2011 at 12:12 PM

We just upgraded our nHydrate installation from version 4.1.0.190 to 4.1.0.198.

When verifying the model we get errors on the computed fields. The data type of these fields is set to Decimal. In the latest version the length field is required but when a field is a computed field the length is automatically set to "computed".

Is this an issue or is the decimal data type no longer possible for computed columns?

You are correct and this will be corrected in the next version. You will be able to set the datatype properly. The database does not use this of course but the generated code does to have the proper datatype in your code.

Now it's working perfectly. Thanks a lot.
